Check into Healdsburg's Chic Retreat, Harmon Guest House

Harmon Guest House is a slice of wine country hotel heaven in downtown Healdsburg, California and after a staycation here, I'm ready to move in.

Walking around downtown Healdsburg

Named for Harmon Heald, who founded the city of Healdsburg, Harmon Guest House is the latest addition to the much-loved Hotel Healdsburg and h2 Hotel family.

The 39-room hotel has been thoughtfully designed with sustainable efforts in mind - Six electric vehicle charging stations, environmentally-friendly building materials, and energy and water efficient systems are just a few of the green practices that have led to this location being LEED Gold Certified. I'm always down with businesses that make helping the environment a priority, so this was a big win in my book!

Designed with neutral colors and pops of yellow, the guestrooms are chic and airy, pulling inspiration from the natural beauty of Healdsburg. My room had a quiet balcony overlooking the pool and Foss Creek, and I love that the bath products were from Wine Country Botanicals, a local business I'm a huge fan of.

The hospitality on behalf of the front desk team was top notch (so friendly!) and one of the staff even surprised me by delivering complimentary chocolate truffles to my room!

There's a ton of perks to staying at Harmon Guest House that other hotels don't offer - Valet parking, complimentary yoga on Sundays, free three-hour bike rental so you can bike around town, and best of all, complimentary breakfast served at sister property h2 Hotel's Spoonbar.

The Rooftop at Harmon Guest House

Admiring the view from The Rooftop

The hotel's rooftop bar, conveniently called The Rooftop, is my new fave place to grab a drink and bite to eat - Whether I'm staying at the Harmon Guest House or just popping over from my house nearby. This is Healdsburg's only rooftop bar and the views of Fitch Mountain are unreal! They even have a fire pit for those late nights when it gets a bit chilly, plus an awesome happy hour.

"The Rooftop": Vodka, raspberry, lime, mint

Truffle Fries: Parmesan, garlic, and truffle oil

Burrata: Arugula, tomatoes, and olive oil

My stay here was so peaceful and relaxing - I seriously wish I could do it again! If you're searching for a great place to stay during your next wine country vacation, I highly recommend Harmon Guest House.
