4 Delicious Restaurants to Grab Lunch at in Healdsburg

Healdsburg is well-known as a Sonoma County dining mecca with countless restaurant options to choose from to please your palate. These are my top four picks for where to grab lunch in Healdsburg.

Dry Creek General Store

Dry Creek General Store has been a staple in the heart of Dry Creek Valley since 1881. Open til 5pm everyday, they have a variety of sandwiches, salads, deli platters, and boxed lunches available. You can eat at their picnic tables outside with a beautiful view of the vineyards outside - But I recommend ordering a sandwich to bring with you to picnic at a nearby winery, like Dutcher Crossing Winery or Cast Wines.

Willi's Seafood & Raw Bar

Anyone who knows me will tell you that Willi’s Seafood & Raw Bar is my #1 favorite place to eat in Healdsburg. Just off the Healdsburg Plaza, they have indoor and outdoor seating options, as well as an extensive wine list with tons of local Sonoma County wines. As a vegetarian, my go-to bites are the Warm Sourdough Bread with garlic parsley butter and Sautéed Spinach with Meyer lemon marmalade. My carnivorous friends love the Warm Maine Lobster Roll with garlic butter and fennel, and the Kale Caesar! Salad with toasted capers, pine nuts, and aleppo pepper. The raw bar boasts a full list of freshly shucked oysters, many of them local from nearby Tomales Bay and Humboldt Bay - And a visit to Willi’s would be incomplete without one of their famous Cucumber Martinis... You can thank me later.

Bravas Bar de Tapas

Bravas Bar de Tapas is the sister restaurant to Willi’s Seafood & Raw Bar, but offers a full range of Spanish-inspired tapas rather than seafood. The items you order come in the form of small plates and are meant to be shared with your fellow dining companions. Located at 420 Center Street, one of Bravas’s most fun features is their Local’s 420 Happy Hour if you happen to stop in for a late lunch or after work cocktail - My favorite is the Cava Sangria. I always order the Spanish and Local Cheese Plate and Patatas Bravas (fried potatoes, spicy tomato sauce, and aioli) - Other delicious standouts include the Pan Tomate (tomato toast, arbequina olive oil, garlic, and sea salt) and Duncan’s Mushrooms.

Campo Fina

If you walk past Campo Fina and the inside appears to be empty, that’s because everyone is actually sitting out back behind the restaurant, making it one of Healdsburg dining's best kept secrets. Campo has a beautiful space to eat outside, complete with a full second bar and bocce courts where they hold tournaments. Lunch is consistently delicious here, whether you order their wood-fired pizzas, burrata, or fresh salads. Huge bonus that they carry many local, small production wines from favorites, such as Reeve Wines and Limerick Lane Winery, and service is always top notch.
